A Shou Zhua Hu or "Hand-Grab Pot" is a handleless, spouted vessel with a lid similar to the Japanese Houhin. Its function is part way between a gaiwan and a teapot. Three small holes just before its spout act as a rustic strainer. A blob of melted wood ash from the Liang Tu Dai wood kiln accents the lid.
