2025 Clear Brightness Sheng Pu'er (早春南糯普洱, Zǎo Chūn Nán Nuò Pǔ'ěr, "Early Spring Nannuo Sheng Pu'er") - This tea represents the Mingqian 明前 or "pre-Qingming Festival" harvest of Nannuo Mountain sheng pu'er. The period preceding the Qingming Festival, or "tomb-sweeping festival", represents the earliest spring harvest. This tea is prized as the cream of the season, with only limited amounts produced per year, with some years producing no Mingqian tea (depending on the weather the preceding year).
This Nannuo Mingqian sheng is sweet, delicate, and clarifying. It takes its name from one of the translations of Qingming festival.
