Jun De Crimson Clay Teapot (君德宜興朱泥茶壶, Jūn Dé Yíxìng Zhū Ní Cháhú) - This 110 mL pot is the made from Yixing Crimson Clay. Having a higher iron content than its Gold Virtue counterpart, it imparts a deep red hue that develops a rich umbre patina with use, improving the character of tea steeped in it. This form is suitable for oolongs and red teas, but can be used for any type of tea. Like Yixing clay, Chaozhou clay is porous and should be dedicated to a single type of tea.
