We've been getting requests for this for years so here it is - West China Tea's monthly subscription service.  Every month we'll send you something we're excited about - new teas, staff favorites, fresh batches of classics. This is a great way to work your way through our massive catalogue of teas - let us do the choosing for you!

Each shipment will be a surprise, but we guarantee you'll get more than $30 worth of tea each month.  Some months it may be one tea, sometimes multiple, but we'll always send you something we love and want you to enjoy.

Adding this to your cart qualifies you for free shipping on your entire order and you can also join our free monthly tasting session online or in person, see the event details here.

NOTE: Subscription service not compatible with all payment types. Adding a subscription to your cart will cause some of our payment methods to be unavailable on that order.

Love getting a slew of surprise teas to enjoy throughout the month. A great way to explore different types of tras that I wouldn't normally try.

I absolutely love the variety of teas one receives monthly! Excellent amount of tea for the value, too.

    Excellent experience

Posted by Leucas Loves on Mar 22nd 2024

Love that I get to try rare teas and learn about them every month in our virtual meeting when we drink them together. I usually end up getting more of whatever they send because the teas they send are so good.

Excellent Value and Always a Treat!

Posted by Will Wright on Feb 26th 2024

I was delighted to learn that my favorite tea house has begun offering a tea of the month club, so this was a no-brainer for me. West China Tea has many teas that can’t be found elsewhere, and they often share some of their most interesting selections and exclusives with their tea club members. I’m always excited to see what shows up!

    Amazing Value, Delightful Selections

Posted by Adam Sornat on Oct 19th 2023

This is by far the best tea subscription that I've had. Each month I'm suprised by the selection and value, I always get more tea than $30 of tea (sometimes a lot more) and when you add what would be the price of shipping, It's solid value. I've tasted teas that I like that I wouldn't have gotten otherwise, so it's a nice treat, try it out!

    Tea of the Month Club

Posted by Kat B on Aug 17th 2023

I'm so happy I signed up for the tea of the month club. Every tea I've received I've loved, and it has gotten me to try to teas I would not ordinarily have tried. It's such a joy to open the box every month and find out what I'll be trying.

    Nice variety of incredible tea

Posted by Daniel Kazda on Mar 4th 2023

For starters you definitely get more than $30 worth of tea which makes this subscription a no-brainer. Also, the package will likely include a tea you may not have thought about buying, so it truly is a fabulous way to explore and expand in your tea journey.

    Never run out of tea!

I have been subscribed to the TOTM club for a year now and have enjoyed every box I have received. Not only do I get to try a plethora of well-curated teas, it also keeps me well-stocked. If you are an avid tea drinker, I highly recommend the club to fuel your passion.

    right portions for trials

50g for a single person is ten pots. I stretch each pot to ten cups, which ends up being two days roughly. So we're talking twenty days of consistently good coffee in a month. I need to use myTeaPal or similar to start tracking the tastes so I can then buy tea outside of tea of the month. The tea is extremely high quality. For context, I'm using a single-server clay teapot from I think Korea.
