Hong Tu Si Guizhou Red (土司紅茶, Tǔ Sī Hóng Chá, "Toast Red Tea") - This tea comes from a Fuding varietal that is grown on Pan Ying in Guizhou and processed by Master Lin. Its wet leaves are sable with a fragrance of charred marshmallows and caramelized sweet potato and notes of reduced prune and preserved black cherry. It’s flavor is reminiscent of red currant and brûlée brown sugar with a marble poundcake and brown butter mouthfeel that lingers in the top of the throat and hints of candied walnut, candied ginger, and summer squash.
