Aged and not your standard Green Cha
What can I say about this tea that the other reviewers have not already stated? I’m not sure about the whole manure smell thing. It’s interesting everyone’s pallet and what is picked up on this tea. As I awaken the tea and give it a nice inhale, it definitely has that Sheng Pu erh aroma, with an aged oak barrel note. On the first steep the flavor is consistent with the aroma upon awakening the leaves. The backnote is a slight hint of sweet dates(like a nice aged Hei-cha). There is a syrupy feel on the mouth and tongue. As the Tea opens up on the third and fourth steeping, the petrichor really comes out and stays with you for the rest of the steepings, until, it bitters out and then you know its finished. I recommend keeping the water temp at 200 degrees F and no hotter, you do not want to scorch this tea. Overall a really nice aged green that I hope will become a staple at West China Tea. Thanks So Han!!!

Strange brew
Wow! What a unique tea. Very grassy and earthy. This tea has a manure flavor that is attractive and very much transports me to a summer day down wind from a ranch. This may not sound enticing, but just try it and see if you don't get dragged in.

Can’t get enough!
I love Chinese Green Tea.. and I just can’t get enough of this one. Trust me.. it’s freakin’ fantastic. I had some recently sitting on my tailgate at the beach.. I closed my eyes and the chi from this tea had me hovering over the ocean in a pure state of bliss. It’s truly something special.

Great tea for incredible price
Smokey and sheng-y. In my experience this tea can endure many more steeps than most greens.

This tea is just great
I really like this tea. It's a lot like sheng puer, but it's also smoky, and it still has a kind of grassy taste, as well as having a green tea taste. It's a very complex tea that hits a lot of the notes that sheng puer, hei cha, and green tea hit in like the best possible way. It's grassy character is also very unique. It reminds me somewhat of the smell of well-trodden grass at a county fair I used to go to as a kid in Illinois. Imagine that but like wetter and smokier. Honestly I think one of the best teas that WCT sells.
