White Chrysanthemum (白菊花, Bái Jú Huā, "White Chrysanthemum") - Chrysanthemum is a perennial shrub disseminated throughout the world as a decorative and edible plant, and the subtle, rich tisane produced with its flowers is widely appreciated. Over a thousand years ago during the time of the Song Dynasty, it was noted in Chinese traditional texts. Studies have confirmed that it contains compounds with anti-inflammatory and antihistamine properties, and it is rich in vitamins A, B, and C, as well as iron, magnesium, and zinc. It is one of the few herbs sometimes added to Chinese tea, where its soothing, cooling effect on the Qi adds to the experience.
