Our online catalog contains a few very special teas…
Teas that have reached the ripe old age to be able to VOTE. All of these teas are all 18 years or older…
- 2005 Doom Roy Sheng Pu’er is the oldest Sheng Pu'er we carry and is one of the last remaining vintage teas from Li Shulin, after his personal collection was destroyed in a fire in 2021.
- 2000-03 Ling Ling Sheng Pu’er features the “tail end” of 4 different years of Sheng Pu’er batches, consolidated to create a larger quantity blend.
- "Black Sacrificial Hall Fu Brick" aka 1990 Black Lodge Fuzhuan is the oldest Hei Cha we carry. Experience the earthy sweetness of this long, slow fermentation.
Similar to a fine wine or whiskey, Chinese Teas tend to improve in flavor, fragrance, and qi over time.
They also become much more valuable too.
We often discuss the Sotheby’s Hong Kong auction, where a 1900’s cake of Pu’er tea was valued at a whopping $125,000.
