The CommuniTEA Chest is a tea acquisition fund that allows us to get more new tea and tea wares for our catalog. For every contribution you make to the Chest, you get a Guanxi reward equal in value to your contribution + 20%. For example, if you contribute $100, you'll get a Guanxi reward automatically added to your account worth $120. You can use that coupon at checkout on all tea and tea ware purchases on the website or in-store as soon as you make the purchase.
We use the CommuniTEA Chest to raise capital to maximize orders for seasonal harvests, holidays, or when impending trade conditions (like tarriffs) behoove us to make a large order sooner rather than later. Your contributions will allow us to restock on our favorites and introduce new products to our catalog.
Minimum buy-in is $50, but you can purchase multiples to make a larger contribution. This round of Community Chest will be open until May 1.
How to use:
- Make sure that you are signed into your account when you purchase the CommuniTEA Chest, as the Guanxi coupon is linked to your account.
- Because the rewards are Guanxi coupons and the minimum purchase is $50, they can only be redeemed in $60 intervals. When redeeming them, make sure you are using the full amount by purchasing equal to or greater than the value of the coupon being used.
- Only one Guanxi coupon can be applied at a time. CommuniTEA Chest coupons exist for multiples of $60, so no matter how much you contribute, you will be able to redeem it all at once if you want, or spread it across multiple purchases. You can't however combine it with other Guanxi coupons, such as site-wide sales.
